So my great news!!!
I've been asked to stay on at Bella and Bronte for the next three months as Guest Design Team Member!! :)
So Thrilled to be asked to stay of for a bit longer!! I've loved my time with Mo and the Team and cannot wait to share more beautiful cards and projects with you all... Now.. to get onto the important stuff!! The next challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog!!
This fortnights #234 challenge at is "Things With Wings". I've been planning for this challenge for quite a while now. Ever since I saw Mo release two of these three stamps earlier in the year and had that instant "MERGE" Thought... so *Yoink* (that's the sound of me instantly buying all three digis!! LOL) and I stashed these little darls away for a later date.. :) For myself, this is generally how things occur with me, now I have the MERGE BUG!! I no longer see Mo's stamps as individual stamps, but as little Scenes!! with the frequent thought "Oh I wonder If I can Merge that with that!!" going through my head..
Anyhooooo... So. Enough of my rambling. Today I have merged together three gorgeous little Fairies by Mo Manning.
(Far Left) Fairy Needle - Available here
(Center) Baby Fairy Purl - Available here
(Far Right) Baby Fairy Bobbin - Available here
The Scene has been painted in Distressed Re-Inkers, with a touch of iridescent medium on the wings and some glitter glue. You can't have Fairies with shimmery wings!! I've left the card itself quite plain, with minimal embellishments because I wanted the painting to be the center point and to speak for itself, however instead I've incorporated a physical element for each Fairy to give them a bit more Life!!
Baby Fairy Bobbin with his own little button!! You can purchase this cheeky little guy here!!
Needle Fairy has been adorned maroon cotton bow while holding her very own REAL needle!! I did this buy cutting the watercolour paper just below the arm and above the hand with a scalpel and pushing a dolls needle through. I think she's gotten a little tangled in that cotton around her feet!! LOL. You can purchase her here!!
Baby Fairy Purl loves playing with her wool. For this little fairy I paired her with some gorgeous variegated wool, threading it through the watercolour paper and gluing it down over the stamped image. I also attempted to mimic the colours of the varigated wool in the ball of wool she was sitting on. It was challenging, but a lot of fun!!
Another needle I threading through the paper!
The gorgeous SHINY WINGS!!!!
Well I hope you all enjoy my card. Thanks for popping by. I cannot wait to see your beautiful "Things With Wings" Creations!!!

Happy Crafting!!

ReplyDeleteHi Dortesjs. These are digital stamps. I use a Program called Photoshop CS2 and I merged them using this program and then print it out as a whole completed scene, so no cutting involved!! I only needed to cut little slits through the watercolour paper at the end with a scalpel so I could thread my wool and needles through the one piece of watercolour paper. :) There is a great you tube video on merging digis using photoshop CS2 at
Deletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4parkalmTY
and you can get the photoshop program for free legally because the owners released the first version CS2 on the free market for everyone to use from

Hope this helps you out!!

Thank you so much Ema...I'm not looking at joining any other Design Teams at the moment, but if I'm ever considering it in the future Fitztown would be very high on my list of places to apply for... I cannot believe I've only just found your site thanks to joining a different challenge this week. You have some gorgeous Fantasy stamps that I'm itching to attack with my distressed inks!!
